Activities

To fulfill our mission, Blossom holds a series of events, lectures, and study groups on both an ongoing and ad hoc basis. Below is a list of standing Blossom activities with their corresponding time.

Intro to Spiritism Group(Thursdays from 7:30PM to 8:15PM) – A 45 minute introductory discussion group open to all interested in learning more about Spiritism. Group members engage in questions and topics that are meaningful to their day-to-day lives and learn how Spiritism can help us negotiate our every day challenges. Therapeutic Passes follow the meeting, for those who are interested.

Study Group(Thursdays from 8:45PM to 9:45PM) – This study group takes place on Thursdays after the Intro to Spiritism Group and is by invitation only. Group members study together various aspects of Spiritism and the Spiritualist context as a whole in a safe and collegial atmosphere. Regular attendance is required and a significant committment is requested of those in the group.

Talks in Portuguese(Tuesdays  from 7:30PM to 8:30PM) - Public meeting in Portuguese followed by passes. During this one hour activity, two Blossom volunteers deliver talks on Spiritist topics. (In Portuguese only).

Mediumship Development Groups(Wednesdays, By Invitation Only) - Mediumship study and development groups take place on Wednesday by invitation only.  Blossom opens new Mediumship groups every year and, when that happens, we inform members taking part in other groups about the opportunity to join. If you are interested in joining a Mediumship Development group, we suggest you join another Blossom activity first.
